Overview

The goal of the Vermont Downtown and Historic Preservation Conference is

to provide training and workshops to educate and raise statewide

awareness of policies and programs and tools that help historic

preservationists, developers, state and local policy makers, community

planners, community development professionals, architects, and builders to

keep Vermont looking like Vermont, support Vermont’s traditional settlement

pattern, and advance the state’s smart growth goals.

All program elements have been vetted by a peer review group for depth,

scope, and relevance for professional planners, and to satisfy AICP CM

criteria. Specific program descriptions follow.
