Building vibrant, resilient communities and sustainable creative economies demands active partnerships. New Hampshire Institute of Art, New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA), and New Hampshire State Council on the Arts invite you to come learn about creative placemaking and their collaborative efforts to engage arts and culture to improve our New Hampshire communities.

Leonardo Vazquez, Director of Creative Placemaking at NHIA and Executive Director of the National Consortium of Creative Placemaking, will speak to the need for creative placemaking, what it is and how it works. Various speakers will provide insight on creative placemaking and its importance to work being done by planning, community development and creative professionals in New Hampshire. Breakout sessions will be led by CDFA Fellows who have just completed NHIA’s Certificate in Creative Placemaking Program.
