An update on the outcomes of the 2019 Legislative session that may impact the policies and practices of Vermont land use officials.
Updates from Vermont E-Court judges regarding judicial decision making, the role of municipalities in the appeals process, tips for towns proceeding pro se, and a review of relevant cases.
Two representatives from the State of Vermont, Department of Housing and Community Development will discuss the Municipal Planning Grants program and share examples of local successes, tips for preparing a competitive grant application, and ways to access other opportunities.
Finally, a facilitated panel of experienced local land use professionals and municipal officials will provide practical advice, success stories and respond to participants’ questions.
