The Town of Stratham, New Hampshire (population 7,600) is seeking an experienced candidate to serve as Director of its Planning & Building Department. This is a highly skilled, professional position overseeing planning and development, including short- and long-term planning projects and all elements of the land use review and building permitting processes, for the Town of Stratham. The Directoradministers the day-today operations of the Department, coordinates planning projects and associated public outreach processes, and ensures appropriate professional support and administration is provided to land use boards toward the advancement of best practices in community planning and design. The position also oversees the Town’s building inspection and code enforcement functions. The starting salary range is between $80,000 and $95,000 with a highly competitive benefit package.
