American Planning Association, NNECAPA, and State section Membership Combined

You can join the American Planning Association and be placed in the Northern New England Chapter and your state section automatically by visiting My APA link (top right of page header) or by contacting an APA customer service representative at customerservice@planning.org or (312) 431-9100. The date you join will remain your renewal date and APA will send you an email reminder each year at that time.

NNECAPA and State Section Only Membership

Section Membership

NNECAPA has three state sections.  Any Chapter member listing an address in Maine, New Hampshire or Vermont will automatically be a member of the applicable state section.

NNECPA is pleased to offer chapter-only memberships for individuals who do not want to join APA national. For an annual fee of eighty dollars ($80.00), Chapter Only members receive all the benefits of NNECAPA membership, but are not eligible for benefits associated with membership in APA National. Please note, Chapter only membership does not make you eligible to sit for the AICP exam or retain AICP membership.

Chapter-Only membership fees for individual and retired/students are renewed each year.

Individual Membership - $80.00

Retired/Student Membership - $25.00

Once you register you will receive an automated receipt and your contact details will be included with the registered Chapter.
