After ten years planning the city of Portland, five of those as Director of Planning & Urban Development, Christine Grimando began as a Senior Planning Lead for VHB in Maine, focusing on planning initiatives in Maine and across New England.

Tex Haeuser is now President of the South Portland Land Trust. He also serves on South Portland's Open Space Acquisition Committee and the Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee. In addition, Tex is a member of the Portland Chapter of the Citizens Climate Lobby.

As of July 16, Kevin Kraft started as the Director of Planning & Urban Development for the City of Portland. He was previously the Deputy Director of Planning & Urban Development for Portland. Read more.

Medea Steinman has been hired as a full-time regional planner at the Hancock County Planning Commission. She was previously employed by the Waldo County Soil and Water Conservation District.

Jamel Torres reports that he has accepted a new job as Land Use Division Director for the Southern Maine Planning & Development Commission. Jamel will be leading the organization’s land use planning department on a variety of land use projects.
