Chapter Committees

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee includes the Chapter President, the three Legislative Liasons and other Chapter members.

Professional Development Committee

The Professional Development Committee is chaired by the Chapter Professional Development Officer and includes the three Section Professional Development Officers. The Professional Development Committee is responsible for publicizing continuing education opportunities to Chapter members, managing NNECAPA's certification maintenance program and assisting planners with preparing for the AICP exam.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is chaired by the Chapter Public Information Officer and includes the three Section Public Information Officers and other at-large Chapter members. The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining the Chapter's electronic communication platforms (website, listserves, social media), publishing the Yankee Planner, and assisting with other communication needs of Chapter.

Conference Planning Committee

The Conference Planning Committee is chaired by the Section Representative and is comprised of Chapter members from the state hosting the conference. The Conference Planning Committee is responsible for all aspects of organizing and managing NNECAPA's Annual Conference.

Awards Committee

The Awards  Committee is comprised of the three Section Representatives and is responsible for administering NNECAPA's annual awards program.

Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is comprised of the three Section Representatives and is responsible for recommending a slate of Chapter officers each election cycle.
