Annual Meetings & Conferences

The LPC & General Membership Meeting is typically held in January and includes a business meeting for MAP members along with discussion about the legislative agenda.

The MAP Annual Business Meeting is now held in November/December (following the NNECAPA Annual Business Meeting during the fall conference in October).

A MAP Conference is usually held in May. This event is a day conference that includes professional development sessions for planners and announcement and recognition of MAP annual award recipients.  The MAP Conference may be held as a small event during the years that Maine hosts the NNECAPA Conference.

Maine also hosts the NNECAPA Conference in October every 3 years, as the conference rotates between Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
