Vermont Act 250 Commission Report
With Vermont's state land use law, Act 250, set to turn 50 in 2020, a legislative committee was charged with examining and reporting on a broad list of issues relating to the law. The Commission on Act 250: The Next 50 Years released its final report in January. The report includes more than 30 recommendations and draft legislation that is likely to be introduced this legislative session.

NNECAPA engages in policy and legislative activity primarily through its three state Sections. The Chapter supports its Sections by:
- Facilitating the sharing of information among members across all three states;
- Connecting members with resources provided by APA; and
- Providing information to members about planning-related policies, programs, legislation and judicial decisions at the federal level.
Recently, NNECAPA wrote to Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) to support additional funding for local government in the latest COVID-19 relief bill. See the text of the letter here
